New Glory Devotional: HIGH EXPECTATIONS BUT LOW PREPARATIONS.

By Pastor Ayodeji Agbelusi

Memorise: Seest thou a man diligent in his business? he shall stand before kings; he shall not stand before mean men. Proverbs 22:29 KJV

Read: Proverbs 22:28-29 KJV

God is a miracle worker who operates by kingdom laws and never a magician. There’s nothing good that you desire from that will come cheap. Adequate preparation is therefore the cheapest gateway to the fulfilment of your desires and expectations. If you won’t like the price you can’t gain the prize. There are laws and rules guiding your journey, career, ministry and profession. If you won’t live to play by the rules, you will find it difficult emerging a winner. Therefore, as you desire and expects the best I’m your life, marriage and business, be readily positioned to do the needful in bringing to pass the manifestations thereof.

God is the Master of all and that’s why His Spirit is the best teacher. You must coach your spirit by the Spirit of Lord to act promptly towards the actualization of your set goals and plans. Your body, soul and spirit must be prepared to suit your journey into success in marriage, business and ministry. Your refusal to prepare adequately will be your readiness to fail cheaply. Prepare to get the best in life and never to regret all through it. Make hay while the sun shines. Don’t be a mediocre in your thoughts and actions as you expects a glorious future in marriage, business and ministry. Avoid laziness and pay the price before the D-day. You must position yourself for real training and exercises in your chosen area of adventure if you want to live happily, successful and peaceful. The simple step to success is adequate preparation. Are you getting ready for your future home? How prepared are you for success in life and ministry? Above all, are you getting ready to see Jesus at the close of the age? The choice is yours.

Reflections: Don’t deceive yourself, the results and effects you are seeing today aren’t far from your past preparations. If your want the best in your marriage, business and ministry, work towards it prayerfully.
